Our Story in a Nutshell!

     We began our family August 30, 2008, but that's not the beginning of our story. In the early 1980's the Repke and Martin families met at Bethany Fellowship Church in Warsaw, IN.  Both of our dad's were students at Grace College and Theological Seminary.  Micah likes to say that he first met Johanna in the church nursery.  Our mom's were great friends, enjoying coffee/ soda outings, taking their kiddos to the park, shopping, etc.
     When the Repkes moved away to live in Brazil as missionaries, the families kept in touch through letters and furloughs.  When the Repkes returned from the mission field when Micah was 17, they moved back to northern Illinois.  Although the Repkes and Martins tried to stay in touch, there were years that went by without any visits.  Micah got a job at Samaritan Ministries, and Johanna began pursuing a degree in Special Education.
     In the fall of 2006 while Johanna was in the middle of her student teaching, she received an out of the blue text message from "Micah," saying that he was driving back home from Ohio and was looking for someone to chat with.  "Micah Repke?" she texted back.  Johanna only knew 2 Micah's at the time, and she would have been surprised to hear from either one of them. Sure enough it was Micah Repke.  A closer friendship began that day, and on January 5, 2008 Micah asked Johanna to court him.

     They were married August of 2008, expecting March of 2009, parents of twin boys October of that same year, adding a daughter April of 2011, and continuing with a baby boy- number 4 out of 4 under 4 in April of 2013!  Yes life is busy and blessed!
